Your tour starts after arrival at Baltra Airport.  Your naturalist guide knows the history of the WWII Baltra air base.  After a brief crossing of the Itabaca Channel, continue to the Santa Cruz Highlands with your Guide in a chartered vehicle.  First stop at Los Gemelos.  These collapsed twin craters were formed when the island was still an active volcano.  This area is one of the few where the endemic Scalesia forest is almost intact.  Some Finch species and the Galapagos dove are here.
Second stop: Rancho Primicias or Butterfly Farm, where we see the giant tortoise in their natural habitat, the highlands of the island.  Tortoises wander around the farms bordering on the National Park Tortoise Reserve.  We also see occasionally the endemic Pintail Duck and Gallinules.
Third stop: Lava tunnels; experience a moment of total darkness.  Lava tunnels form at the heart of giant lava flows and show us the violence of the magma as if frozen in time.

Daily dive tour

• 07H45: Meeting at Scuba Iguana’s dive center (Informative Session)
• 07h50: Departure to dive site (way: sea or land/sea)

DEPENDING ON THE SITE WE HAVE THE 2 FOLLOWING SCHEDULES:

• 09h30 / 10h30: Arrival at dive site. Dive and weight check (30 minutes)
• 10h30 / 11h30: First Dive (Depth 18-25mts/ 59-82ft. Max time 1 hour)
• 11h30 / 12h30: Surface Interval (1.5 hour); lunch
• 12h45 / 13h45: Second Dive (depth 18-20mts / 59-65ft. Max Time 1 hour)
• 13h45 / 14h45: Return
• 15h15 / 16h30: Arrival to Scuba Iguana’s dive center.

Daily Land Tour

Starts in Santa Cruz Island in Puerto Ayora at 06H00 AM or 8h00 AM.
A representative from the LAND TOUR BOAT will pick you form the Hotel to start the visit of a different island (Plazas, Bartolome, Seymour, Santa Fe) Walking with a naturalist guide form the Galapagos National Park and snorkeling time with the marine life.
End between 16h00 PM

Bike and kayak tour (the schedule of the activities depends of the nature conditions)

BIKE:  Our double cab truck takes you to the starting point up the hill.  Biking on a dirt farm road through the high lands, our first stop will be “THE BELLAVISTA LAVA TUNNEL” the second longest in South America.  The passage through the tunnels is a 20-minute walk.
After biking for about 30 more minutes, we arrive at beautiful “CERRO MESA” where we can enjoy giant tortoises in their natural habitat and amazing landscapes.  The route then continues with an exciting descent through the island’s climate zones until we arrive at the paradise Beach “EL GARRAPATERO” in the Southeast of Santa Cruz.
Flamingos frequent the Garrapatero Lagoon. Return to Puerto Ayora in our passenger truck.

14h00 aprox lunch in a local restaurant

KAYAK:  kayaking for 2 hours with the company of a kayak guide around the Academy Bay, visiting Punta Estrada and Franklins Bay. Enjoy the view looking for birds and marine Iguanas. Finish the tour having a snack at Playa de los Alemanes.

Transfer OUT.

A chartered Vehicle will pick you form the Hotel to take you to Baltra airport and assist you with your bags.

THE PACKAGES DOESN’T INCLUDE: National Flights, Galapagos National Park entrance fee, TCT card, diners and tips

• It is mandatory to hold a diver’s certification (PADI, NAUI, CMAS, etc).
• Complete the application form
• Medical Certificate if declaring any medical condition and/or people over 60 years old that have not been diving during the last 8 months.
• Minimum age to participate 10 ages.
• Children between 10 and 11years old must dive with a private guide.
• We accept certified beginner divers at all dive sites except Gordon Rocks for which we require a minimum of 25 logged dives or the previous dive evaluation of our dive guides, while diving at another site.
• For divers who are not certified, We offer the Discover Scuba Diving and PADI diving courses(Ask for the program).
• We not accept participants accompanying family members or doing snorkeling activities; unless they pay the full rate.
• We need a minimum of 3 divers to confirm our daily dive tours.
